No other candidate has my degree of appellate law experience. It's impossible to talk about supporters without thanking Mark, Emma Kate, Lily, and Harrison. Adopted in early childhood, I credit the legal system for a vital fresh start on life. I am proud of my hometown of Harrison, Arkansas. Pictured is Shelby Akel, the lovely woman who gave me my first job in her store on the square in my early teens. I could not run this statewide race without the encouraging words of many friends and supporters. I have worked on over 1,400 appeals cases as either attorney or appellate judge. I am the only candidate with such intense, focused appeals expertise. I am pleased to have the support of many trusted leaders in Arkansas, including Republican John Paul Hammerschmidt. My special thanks to Democrat superlady Jimmie Lou Fisher for her support during this election. Special thanks to my friends and supporters in east Arkansas. Without help all across Arkansas in small towns and large cities, my statewide election would be impossible. My friends in Glenwood were fantastic! Our volunteers donate their time because they want to make a positive difference for Arkansas. I am reminded of my days of growing up in Harrison when I travel across Arkansas. My daughters enjoy the parades the most. I am delighted that my candidacy is a grassroots one, with many people all across Arkansas coming together to lend their name and support to me.
